La Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT) ha organizado con la estadounidense Facebook una serie de tutoriales para ayudar a sus países miembros a reactivar el turismo, azotado por más de un año de pandemia, a través de la comunicación y la publicidad en diferentes redes sociales.
Según un comunicado difundido este viernes, la OMT y Facebook han organizado varias sesiones de trabajo para enseñar a una treintena de países a hacer un uso efectivo de las redes y obtener así una ventaja competitiva como destinos turísticos en el contexto actual marcado por la pandemia.
Además, se han ofrecido consejos para comunicarse con su público en Facebook, Instragram, Messenger y WhatsApp -todas ellas plataformas del grupo de Mark Zuckerberg- y adquirir conocimientos sobre métrica y otras herramientas necesarias para medir el éxito de las campañas publicitarias.
Según la OMT, «esta alianza ayudará a los destinos a prepararse mejor para un nuevo entorno comercial y les permitirá utilizar los datos y el marketing digital para llegar a nuevos públicos y reactivar su sector turístico».
