Santo Domingo, R.D. La Asociación Dominicana de Administradoras de Riesgos de Salud (ADARS), lamentó hoy la decisión del Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) de interrumpir la atención a los pacientes afiliados a una de sus asociadas, señalando que “los conflictos entre el CNSS y el CMD no deben involucrar a las ARS”.
La Asociación llamó al gremio médico a reflexionar sobre su decisión, indicando que las diferencias que puedan existir entre los actores del sector salud “no deben afectar los derechos de aquellos que requieren atención médica y pagan además por ese servicio conforme a lo establecido en la Ley de Seguridad Social”.
La ADARS reiteró su disposición de colaborar para que el Colegio Médico y el Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social encuentren la solución de los conflictos que puedan originarse por diferencias entre las entidades que conforman el Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social, en beneficio de la salud del pueblo dominicano y la preservación del sistema de salud y seguridad social que tanto ha costado construir.
Ponderó además que “los loables esfuerzos de las autoridades para combatir los efectos del Covid-19, pueden ser afectados si se les niega atención a afiliados del sistema, solo por diferencias que pueden muy bien ser superadas mediante el diálogo y el trato directo entre el CMD y el CNSS”.
Añadió que “corresponde al Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social, como único órgano rector autorizado, responder a los reclamos del Colegio Médico Dominicano”, por lo que ven desafortunado el penalizar a los usuarios del sistema que requieren de la debida atención sanitaria en tiempos tan difíciles.
